Can I return an Internet purchase to one of your store locations?

For your convenience, you may return your online purchase to any of our Party City store locations.

We will gladly accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase with Shipping Receipt or Store Receipt.

  • Returns with the Shipping Receipt: All products, including Online Only products, will be refunded the full purchase price.
  • Returns without the Shipping Receipt: We are unable to process returns without the Shipping Receipt. If you have misplaced your original Shipping Receipt please click here to request a replacement.
  • Merchandise credit is only redeemable at the issuing store.
  • Online Only products can be returned online for the full purchase price. Please note: Online Only kits cannot be returned to a Party City store location.
  • Shipping and Handling charges and Shipping and Handling taxes are non-refundable.
  • Products must be unopened and in new condition.
  • Returns on seasonal items such as Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving may be returned up to 7 days prior to the date of the holiday.

We will gladly accept returns within 30 days from the date you received your purchase.

All returned items must include the Shipping Receipt. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only.

Return shipping charges are not refundable.

All returns will be credited to the original form of payment. All merchandise must be in new condition, unopened, unworn and in original packaging.

Non-Returnable Items include:

  • Custom Invitations & Banners and Personalized Favors
  • Helium Tanks
  • Partial Party Kits – Party Kits may only be returned complete, including all components originally specified within each kit. Party Kit components cannot be returned individually.

How to Return Online with PartyCity.com:

Please read through our return policy to ensure your item is eligible for a return.

  • All return products require a RAN (Return Authorization Number).
  • To request a RAN (Return Authorization Number) simply click here.
  • Include your packing slip and return authorization form with your return. Write your Return Authorization Number on the OUTSIDE of the package. Example: RA:123456
  • All returns must be sent via a traceable method so that your package may be tracked and receipt confirmed by your shipper of choice.

Party City Retail Store Location - Halloween Return Policy:

We will gladly accept returns and exchanges for Halloween costumes, decorations and accessories by Wednesday, October 21, 2015 with your Shipping Receipt.
